Sustainability is a core business value embedded in Clearwater’s culture and expressed throughout our mission, strategies and values. We believe that the stewardship of our resources is both our personal and corporate responsibility and we know that any plan for sustainability must include a commitment to people. That’s why Clearwater is committed to supporting our over 1,900 employees in their communities all around the world by investing in continuous education, mentorship, and opportunities for growth and advancement.
Whether a crewmember aboard one of our vessels, a processing line worker in our plant or one of our sales representatives around the world, Clearwater employees are also citizens in their communities. Clearwater employees donate time to answer phones in the annual IWK Telethon for children and women’s health, pick up debris from our coastal shorelines in our annual beach clean-up and take part in countless events to raise funds for charitable causes.
Through our Clearwater Cares program we are proud to make financial contributions each year in support of community organizations, primarily those with a focus on children’s health and welfare. Please visit our Corporate Social Responsibility page to learn more about our Clearwater Cares program.
