Chief Executive Officer. Ian joined Clearwater as CEO in May 2010. Ian has over 23 years experience in the food and consumer products industries, including senior leadership positions at Campbell Soup Company in the United States, China and Canada. His most recent position with Campbell was Vice-president of Business Development for North America. Prior to working with Campbell, Ian held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, sales and international business development for Allergen, Colgate-Palmolive and the Gillette Company. Ian is a graduate of McGill University (BA, MBA) and a former Captain in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve.
Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the day to day operations of all Clearwater's land based facilities. Prior to joining Clearwater in 1988, Eric served as Deputy Executive Director of the Seafood Producers Association of Nova Scotia and has served on the boards of a number of seafood industry organizations, including the Fisheries Council of Canada. Eric holds a Masters in Public Administration degree from Dalhousie University.
Vice President, Fleet Operations. Mike has over 38 years experience in the fishing industry, 22 of which were spent at sea where he worked his way up from deckhand to captain by age 27. Mike joined Clearwater in 1988 as manager of the Scallop Fleet and was appointed Vice President, Fleet in 2004. He is responsible for overseeing the harvesting of Clearwater's Canadian Scallop, Argentine Scallop and Canadian Clam Quotas as well as the design, maintenance and construction of vessels for Clearwater's harvesting fleet.
Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, joined Clearwater in 1987 as Controller, Canadian Operations. Bob was then appointed Vice President, Finance in 1990. Bob is responsible for all finance, treasury, financial reporting and accounting, information systems, human resources, administration and controllership functions. Previous experience includes controller positions with Fishery Products International and The Lake Group. Bob holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia.
